Members of the guilds offereing the MITI's are often simply enthusiastic volunteers sharing their passion, and they limited their class size accordingly. We are also limited by the amount of time available and by the number of classrooms suitable for thses projects. And, in several cases, the $5 donation barely covers the cost of materials. Therefore, we would appreciate your patience and understanding in limiting your choices, or when finding that the morning classes have filled, consider signing up for an afternoon workshop. If there is a project you especially want to try, please check with the sponsoring guild to see if they might have an extra kit...even better - - join that guild and experience a variety of projects with them!!! Examples of Make-it/Take-its workshops:
The Crafters’ Market provides an opportunity for guilds and their members to offer for sale handmade items and new/unused craft supplies (e.g. books, unused kits, extra project materials, etc.) The church provides homemade soups, sandwiches and baked goods for sale. We encourage you to support their sale because they provide the facility and volunteers at no charge.
